Description:We generated a large-scale plasma metabolomics dataset across the human lifespan from 18,476 Chinese individuals aged 1-96 years using a high-throughput nano-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (LDI-MS) platform. For each plasma sample, five technical replicate spectra were acquired. The study was designed to characterize age-associated metabolic patterns and to support development of metabolomic aging metrics, including metabolomic age, metabolomic age acceleration, and a mortality-linked age deviation measure.
