Description:Cellular senescence is a fundamental hallmark of aging, yet its spatial and cellular dynamics in human tissues remain incompletely understood. This study aims to elucidate the mechanisms and distribution of senescence across the human lung by leveraging advanced single-cell and spatial transcriptomic technologies. Using Xenium-based spatial transcriptomics, this dataset captures gene expression profiles at single-cell resolution within intact lung parenchyma, enabling the investigation of cellular composition, spatial organization, and senescence-associated molecular signatures. Profiling human tissue slides using the Xenium In Situ Spatial Gene Expression platform with the Segmentation Kit, together with the 10x hLung 289-gene panel and a custom 100-gene senescence panel, enables high-resolution mapping of transcriptomic profiles within intact tissue architecture.
