Description:In this study, PNNL-TDA collaborated with Tristate-OSU TMC to provide proteomic data for integration with their ongoing complementary efforts. In our collaborative efforts with Tristate-OSU TMC, we are exploring proteomic and transcriptomic changes associated with IPF, a severe disease in human lungs with no known cure. OSU-TMC used immunofluorescence staining to select regions of interest, exhibiting onset of senescence and fibrosis. Using consecutive serial sections on PEN membrane slides, PNNL is performing laser capture microdissection (LCM) on the selected regions followed by in-depth proteomics analysis. Proteomics data generated by PNNL is compared to single cell RNA-seq data generated by OSU. We are aiming to extend this workflow to precision cut lung slices (PCLS) in the near future. : ./PNNL_spatial_nanoPOTS_Healthy_OSU20123_UL_D11
