Description:The human tissue slides profiling with Xenium V1 In Situ Spatial Gene Expression with Segmentation Kit and a custom gene panel enables high-resolution mapping of transcriptomic profiles within intact tissue architecture, making it particularly powerful for studying cellular senescence, where spatial context is essential for understanding cell–cell interactions. In addition to the expression for 371 genes in this custom panel, Xenium profiles tissue morphology using DAPI staining and antibodies (to ATP1A1, CD45, and E-cadherin) within the segmentation kit to delineate individual cell boundaries, allowing precise spatial allocation of transcripts to cells. Its standardized workflow and reproducible output also support cross-laboratory benchmarking, enabling consistent comparisons of spatial gene expression patterns and assay performance across research groups.
