Description:Illumina/454 hybrid gene index: A subset of 12 stool samples out of 764 samples selected from phase one metagenomic wgs sequencing, underwent supplementary sequencing using the 454 FLX Titanium platform, and were assembled using Newbler (454/Roche GS Mapper/Assembler). Assemblies underwent gene prediction and annotation to generate the HMP Hybrid Gene Index. Gene sequence and annotation is provided here in gff3 format, with one file per sample. Functional attributes assigned to each gene prediction include gene name, gene symbol, Gene Ontology (GO) assignments and Enzyme Commission (EC) numbers.
