Description:Autofluorescence Microscopy collected from the pancreas of a 35-year-old white male donor by the Biomolecular Multimodal Imaging Center (BIOMIC) at Vanderbilt University. BIOMIC is a Tissue Mapping Center that is part of the NIH funded Human Biomolecular Atlas Program (HuBMAP). Autofluorescence images were collected with a Carl Zeiss microscopy AxioScan.Z1 using 3 channels/filters -- DAPI (excitation: 335-383 nm/emission: 420-470 nm), eGFP (excitation: 450-490 nm/emission: 500-550 nm), and dsRed (excitation: 538-562 nm/emission: 570-640 nm). Support was provided by the NIH Common Fund and National Eye Institute (U54 EY032442). Human pancreas tissue was identified from nondiabetic donors using a national network of partnerships, including the International Institute for Advancement of Medicine (IIAM), and acquired in partnership with the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) in association with the Human Pancreas Analysis Program (HPAP) and Vanderbilt Pancreas Biorepository (VPB).
